Tampons and sanitary pads usually top the list of needs at shelters, since they’re pricey and supporters don’t often donate them. Compounding the issue is the fact that clean showers are also scarce, and not washing during menstruation can lead to infections.

We can change that in a small way. Bring your friends, your co-workers your sisters and join us at Mill Creek Pub or the Garage Bar and Grille for a PERIOD PARTY! We will be collecting feminine hygiene products to be donated to Share's Women in Transitions Program. There will be special food and drink offerings, raffle prizes and auction items.

We as sisters need to work together to help our sisters in need. Come and have a drink, a laugh and make a difference. Pick up a feminine hygiene product or two and join us.

Other ways to help: Drop off feminine hygiene products at The Clark County Democrats office - 10621 NE Coxley Dr #101, Vancouver, WA 98662
