The Clark County Democratic Women believe in dignity, safety, and due process for all people. We also believe that strong communities are built when public institutions operate transparently, lawfully, and with accountability.
Immigration enforcement is a complex and emotionally charged issue. Our concern is not with individuals doing their jobs, but with ensuring that policies and practices do not undermine trust, safety, or access to essential services within our communities. When families are afraid to seek medical care, send their children to school, or cooperate with local institutions, everyone is affected.
We support approaches to immigration that are humane, lawful, and consistent with constitutional principles. We believe solutions are strongest when they balance compassion with responsibility and are informed by local impact, public safety, and respect for civil liberties.
As an organization, the Clark County Democratic Women remain committed to constructive dialogue, thoughtful policy, and community stability, and we encourage our elected leaders to pursue reforms that reflect these values.
